AN APPLICATION FOR FUNDING AID FROM GREENLAND RURAL ASSOCIATION -GRAS
Greenland Rural Association-GRAS is delighted to publish this
agricultural development project dubbed a “Micro project to increse
Solanum Potato production”.
Before this submission, GRAS had secured five hectares of land, of
which one hectare is already cultivated with solanum potato. Given an
increasing demand of potatoes by our buyers lately we seek funds to
aid improve our production, be it funds enough for one, two, three, or
four hectares potatoes production should be of tremendous significance
in our fight against hunger drive.
In execution we put a smile on the face of villagers in Santa as they
are employed,pullout of unemployment, idleness, Alcoholism, theft, and
exposure to sexually transmitted diseases.
Our Management, financial and technical committee holds a record of a
certian high spirit of motivation amongst them, seen in the one
hectare of solanum potatoes project already executed which should
tanslate morally, physically and financially to achieve our goal to
cultivate 5 hectares of Solanum Potato this year should we get
We train these beneficiaries (work force) on best prevention
methodologies against fungicides and insecticides which affect the
growth of Solanum Potato
to mold them to better manage of their own small projects they emabark
on in the process of time.
Moreover, suppose we cultivate the intended five hectares in the end
this project will be noted as one geared toward or that has improve
access of beneficiaries (laborers) to some financial products and
services by opening of accounts with The Means and competence of the
community put together (MC2) (Muttuelle Communautaire De Croisance) a
Rural Micro-finance in Santa for the payment of their wages, to
motivate them to save regularly,and benefit from other microcredit
